One of the keys to decreasing or preventing sitting-related lower back pain is variability in lower back posture.
There is no magical “perfect posture”, whatever ergonomic standards you follow.
If you spend too long sitting in the same position, you start to put excessive stress on the tissues of the lower back, which can in turn contribute to back pain.
However, if we can add variability to our sitting position, we can modify the length of time spent with our back in one position, therefore decreasing stress in the area.

However, if we can add variability to our sitting position, we can modify the length of time spent with our back in one position, therefore decreasing stress in the area.
The lumbar jacket helps us to do this.
Using an inflatable air cushion, we can modify the degree of support and therefore the resting curve of our spine, and by doing so, provide this much-needed variety in our sitting posture.
The best part about this is that we can achieve all of this without having to carry around a separate device.
Using a lumbar roll in the past meant carrying around a device and having to place it in position during use.
If you move out of this position the lumbar roll would also move, often resulting in awkward twisting motions in order to reposition, and this may further aggravate already sensitised tissue.
With the lumbar jacket, your lumbar roll travels with you, conveniently concealed within our fashionable garments, which are designed to be versatile
The garment can be worn as a convenient mid layer or an outer layer itself, and held securely in the position of optimal comfort, ready for you to inflate and use when needed.
